The inspection report will provide a baseline list of things that require attention. This will eliminate last minute surprises that could complicate or delay the sale of your home. Also, realize that most buyers will still want to perform their own inspection even if the seller has already had an inspection done.

A typical home inspection catches common defects, so you gain comfort with the quality of the property you are purchasing.
